Bfnews: "The (Iranian) people will respond to the threats and sanctions (imposed) by the enemies of the Islamic Republic through their heroic turnout in February ۱۱ rallies," Hashemi Rafsanjani said at the beginning of a meeting of the Expediency Council in Tehran on Saturday.
He called on the Iranian nation to stage a massive turnout during the February ۱۱ rallies, and said such participation will prove that the revolutionary thoughts of the Iranian people have remained fresh.
Every year on the occasion of the anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution huge masses of ralliers from all walks of life converge on streets and squares all over the country to express their support for the causes and ideals of the Islamic Revolution.
In Tehran, demonstrators will gather at the Azadi Square, Tehran's main square and the site of major national rallies over the past three decades.
This year's rallies will mark the ۳۳rd anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution.
